More on the Climate Control
In the post about the braking system, we referred to the dealer mechanic introduction document, which has a bunch of very informative images. Here are two more about the climate system which I think are worth sharing. Pretty smart. From myrenaultzoe.com.
SpeakEV user Sandy has a hypothesis that under a certain cutoff ambient temperature (somewhere between 5 and 8 degrees), the rheostat heater kicks in, working towards a “fast start” of the heating system, whereas above only the heatpump operates which has a much slower start. I’d be interested to see this confirmed or denied.
